यह लाइब्रेरी किसी योजना-पुस्तक से नहीं निकली। सेक्टर 8 की माताओं ने जनता दरबार में एक ही बात बार-बार कही — बच्चे तैयारी करना चाहते हैं, पर घर में जगह नहीं और कोचिंग की फ़ीस बस से बाहर। जवाब किताबों से बनी एक जगह थी।This library did not come out of a planning document. Mothers of Sector 8 said one thing again and again at the janta darbar — the children want to prepare, but there's no space at home and coaching fees are out of reach. The answer was a place made of books.
किसके लिए हैWho it is for
सबसे पहले उन घरों के बच्चों के लिए, जिनके पास न अलग कमरा है, न महँगी कोचिंग का बजट। SSC, बैंकिंग, HSSC और बोर्ड की तैयारी करने वाले विद्यार्थी यहाँ रोज़ आते हैं। बुज़ुर्ग अख़बार और पत्रिकाओं के लिए आते हैं — जगह सबकी है।First, for children of homes that have neither a separate room nor a coaching budget. Students preparing for SSC, banking, HSSC and boards come daily. Elders come for the newspapers and magazines — the place belongs to everyone.

माँग सीटों से ज़्यादा है — यह अच्छी समस्या है, पर है समस्या ही। अगले साल के लिए क्षमता दोगुनी करने का इंतज़ाम चल रहा है: और सीटें, और कंप्यूटर, लड़कियों के लिए आरक्षित समय। जैसे-जैसे काम होगा, इसी पेज पर अपडेट मिलेगा।Demand exceeds the seats — a good problem, but a problem still. Arrangements are on to double capacity next year: more seats, more computers, reserved hours for girls. Updates will appear on this very page as the work happens.
