When my family and I began our journey as municipal councillors in Karnal in 2013, that vision seemed far off. Our community centers were neglected and underutilized. Driven by a dream to transform these spaces into vibrant hubs of support and progress, we launched a decade-long mission starting with Sector 7. What we’ve achieved so far is just the beginning of a new chapter for our city.

Sector 7 was our starting point, and transforming it was nothing short of a mission. The community center here was a symbol of what could be achieved with vision and perseverance. We envisioned a space where every document service you need, from Aadhaar updates to PAN card applications, could be handled efficiently in one place. No more endless trips and waiting in long lines—just a streamlined, accessible service center right in the heart of Sector 7.

Education has always been close to my heart, thanks to my upbringing in a family of teachers. When Sector 7 began to evolve into an educational hub, I knew we needed a space that truly reflected this belief. That’s why we established a digital library in the community center—an oasis of knowledge equipped with computers, air conditioning, and an extensive collection of study materials, all at a minimal cost. This library is more than just a room with books; it represents our commitment to investing in the future of our students and our city, providing them with the tools they need to excel and build a brighter tomorrow.

Common Facilities Center (CFC): Your Go-To for All Document Needs

In today’s fast-paced world, convenience is key. That’s why we made it our priority to create the Common Facilities Center (CFC) in Sector 7. This isn’t just a government building; it’s a lifeline for our residents. Whether it’s updating your Aadhaar card, applying for a PAN card, or verifying important documents, the CFC is designed to make these tasks as smooth and hassle-free as possible. It’s about making life easier for you and ensuring that every essential service is within reach.

Physiotherapy and Wellness Center

Our elders and children are at the heart of our community, and they both deserve the highest level of care and support. Reflecting the wisdom of Swami Vivekananda, our newly established physiotherapy and wellness center in Sector 7 is dedicated to this belief. Many senior citizens face issues like joint pain, and our center offers expert care to help them regain mobility and live pain-free lives. We also recognize that some of our elders' children live abroad and feel isolated, which can lead to depression. To address this, we have a dedicated doctor who provides support and care to help alleviate their loneliness. Additionally, for children with speech difficulties, our specialized doctors work tirelessly to assist them in communicating effectively. Our center also offers prosthetic limb services, ensuring that those in need can lead a fulfilling, active life. By addressing these critical needs, we aim to enhance the overall happiness and well-being of our community.

While Sector 7 showcases the remarkable progress we’ve made, our efforts are far from complete. The groundwork for similar transformations in Sectors 8 and 9 is already in place, with all necessary paperwork finalized. Soon, these areas will benefit from the same high-quality facilities and improvements. This marks the beginning of a broader vision to elevate the entire constituency, ensuring that every resident of Karnal, Haryana, enjoys access to top-notch amenities right in their own neighborhood. Transforming these community centers has been a journey of challenges and rewards. What started as a dream in 2013 has become a reality in Sector 7, with Sectors 8 and 9 set to follow suit. As we move forward, my commitment to serving Karnal with dedication and transparency remains unwavering. Together, we can build a brighter future, one step at a time.
